Well situated at the corner of University & Shattuck, El Sombrero fuels the courier guys on a daily basis. Well sized burrito features grilled chicken & consistently good salsa. Features the courier guy 'must-have' -- a healthy dose of chips on the side. Also has a 'buy 10 get 1 free' card. We give it 3 thumbs.

La Burrita: Southside

Fantastic bargain. Great food, low price. Would be a much better sit down place. Burrito comes in plastic tray, not ready for fast-paced courier guy eating on the run. Lots of good chips.
Las Cantaros
A new shop in Emeryville, boasting fresh ingredients. These burritos are tasty as can be. Indeed, the ingredients are fresh, the portion is pretty sizeable and their burritos have a very distinctive taste. El Faralito
When out on International Blvd at lunch time, its time to stop in at El Faralito. The East Bay cousin of their Mission District shop in the city, they feature all of the favorites we loved when we scored in the city. Very inexpensive, the ingredients are a notch lower, but the portions are a notch higher. I make the switch from burrito to my favorite: Quesadilla Suiza. A juicy and oozing delight.

Sizeable regular won't bust the bank with its $3.00 price tag. Loaded with meat. Great ambiance for those used to eating in the Mission in SF. Where's the chips? 3433 International Blvd. 533-5748.
